About Antsy

Antsy is a simple countdown app for iPhone. Add the dates you’re waiting for (trips, birthdays, launches, anything) and Antsy shows how long is left. Events sync across your devices with iCloud, a Home Screen widget shows what’s coming up next, and you can share your list with people you invite so everyone can add and edit events together.

Requirements

An iPhone running iOS 17.6 or later.
An iCloud account. Antsy stores and syncs your events in your own iCloud account, so there is nothing else to sign up for. Make sure you are signed in to iCloud in the Settings app and that iCloud is allowed for Antsy.

Without iCloud, Antsy can still show events it has already saved on the device, but you can’t add, edit, sync, or share events.

Tap the sharing button (the person icon) at the top left of your list.
Choose how to send the invitation, such as Messages or Mail, and pick the people to invite.
The people you invite tap the link on their iPhone. Antsy opens and asks them to confirm before switching to your list.

Everyone on a shared list can view, add, edit, and delete its events, and changes sync to everyone automatically. Only the people you invite can join. To remove someone or stop sharing, tap the sharing button again. If someone shared a list with you, you can leave it the same way.

FAQ and Troubleshooting

My events aren’t syncing between devices.

Check that each device is signed in to the same iCloud account, is online, and has iCloud turned on for Antsy. Pull down on the list to refresh. If you see an offline message, Antsy is showing saved events, which you can’t edit until you’re back online.

An invitation link doesn’t open the shared list.

Make sure Antsy is installed and you are signed in to iCloud with the Apple Account (email address or phone number) the invitation was sent to. Invitations only work for the people they were sent to, so if yours went to a different address, ask the owner to invite you again.

I’m not getting reminders.

Antsy sends a reminder at 9:00 AM on the day of each upcoming event. Check that notifications are allowed for Antsy in Settings > Notifications > Antsy, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn’t silencing them. Past events don’t get reminders.

How do I edit or delete an event?

Tap an event to edit it. Swipe left on an event to delete it. Past events are listed under Past at the bottom of your list.

Can I have more than one list?

Not yet. Antsy shows one list at a time, which you can keep to yourself or share. When you accept an invitation to someone else’s list, Antsy asks you to confirm, then switches to their list. Your own events aren’t deleted: they stay in your iCloud account and come back if you leave the shared list.

Where is my data stored? Can you see it?

Your events are stored in your own iCloud account and on your devices. The developer does not collect or have access to any of your data. See the privacy policy for details.
