Summary

The developer of Antsy does not collect, see, or store any of your data.
Your events are stored in your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit.
Sharing is optional and invite-only.
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device.
Antsy has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs.

Overview

Antsy is a countdown app for iPhone. It lets you track upcoming dates and, if you choose, share a list of events with people you invite. This policy explains what data Antsy handles, where it is stored, and who can see it.

Data We Collect

None. We do not operate any servers, and nothing you enter in Antsy is sent to us. We have no access to your events or to your iCloud account.

Antsy does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal information. There is no sign-up; the app uses the iCloud account already on your device.

Data the App Stores

Antsy stores only the events you create:

Event titles
Event dates
Event colors

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your iCloud account. Events are saved in Antsy’s private CloudKit database in your iCloud account, which syncs them across your devices. If you join a list someone else shared with you, the events on that list are stored in the owner’s iCloud account and reached through CloudKit’s shared database. Apple handles this data under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your device. Antsy keeps a local copy of your events so you can see them while offline. A small snapshot of your upcoming events is also stored in an App Group container on your device so the Home Screen widget can show them. This data never leaves your device except through iCloud sync.

Sharing is off unless you turn it on. When you share your list, Antsy uses Apple’s built-in iCloud sharing:

Only people you invite can join. Shared lists are never public, and an invitation link does not work for anyone who wasn’t invited.
People on a shared list can view, add, edit, and delete its events.
As part of iCloud sharing, Apple may show participants each other’s names or iCloud contact details.
Joining someone else’s list doesn’t delete your own events. They stay in your iCloud account.
The owner can remove people or stop sharing at any time, and participants can leave a shared list at any time.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Antsy schedules a local reminder on your device for each upcoming event, at 9:00 AM on the event date. Reminders are created and delivered by your device. Their content is never sent to us.

To keep your list in sync, Antsy also receives silent background notifications from Apple’s iCloud service when your events change. These come from Apple, are not shown to you, and are not sent by or through us.

Third-Party Services

Antsy includes no third-party SDKs and uses no analytics, tracking, advertising, or crash-reporting services. The only outside service it uses is Apple’s iCloud, for storage, sync, and sharing.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data stays in your iCloud account and on your devices for as long as you keep it there. Deleting an event in Antsy removes it from iCloud and from your synced devices, and from the devices of anyone you share the list with. Deleting the app removes its local copy from that device; events already in iCloud stay there until you delete them. Because we never receive your data, we cannot view, export, or delete it for you.

Children’s Privacy

Antsy does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
