CROSSROADS

I’m here at the crossroads looking at everything that I left behind with you
And all these faces around me are changing so rapidly I can’t seem to tell
My right from wrong, right from left, few things I need to get off my chest
Everything is so different now, well I guess that’s the way its gotta be

I reminisce on all the times I had
And now everything looks so sad in this town
Feels so much like home yet I’m all alone as I lay awake asking myself why
I don’t know

I need a place to rest this mind of mine, got lost running through these old times
And now I’m seeing the same way as I used to when I look into your eyes
Sparkle I see, nothing can beat it
Breathe in deep and I feel completed

It’s just the way you make me feel
I reminisce on all the times I had,
And now everything looks so sad in this town
Feels so much like home yet I’m all alone as I lay awake asking myself why
I don’t know, I don’t know

Everything used to be so bright not a single thing was in sight
And I walked alone without a bit of fright
And as the day turns to night, shades of grey change to white
I’m asking myself who turned out the light
